Organisation: Hope for The Community
The project: Focusing on building an effective, empathetic and collaborative team, I worked with the innovative, award-winning team at Hope for The Community, a social enterprise supporting journeys of hope across Coventry and beyond. Through a series of self-reflection and group activities over a period of time, we built a shared understanding of the respective strengths of each team member, creating space for honest conversations and building trust across the team.
Impact:
- The team were able to open up about challenges, frustrations and gaps across the team which were keeping them in reactive mode in a safe, held, space.
- They were able to communicate honestly about how roles and responsibilities could be shaped to ensure the team worked together proactively
- They gained deeper insight into the pressures that each team member was carrying and identified ways to support one another
